There is easy access to junction 35 & 36 M6 with Kendal only about 11 miles & Windermere about 15 miles. Grange-over-Sands is about 8 minutes by train over the viaduct. National cycle routes are nearby and the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss is only a couple of miles.
